Senior Buyer (Multiple Positions), Becton Dickinson and Company, Woburn, MA.

Ensure material availability for production requirements to prevent business disruption. Monitor inventory levels and budgets. Establish sources of supply for commodities. Develop and manage supplier relationships to support plant goals for on-time delivery and zero backorder. Communicate with suppliers regarding purchase order requirements, formal supply agreements and/or supplier managed inventory programs.

Prepare and provide information related to purchasing such as price variance projections, raw material inventory forecast, and inventory and cost impacts.

Provide sourcing information for audits.

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :

Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Supply Chain Management, Business, Procurement or a related field and two (2) years of related work experience.

Must have two (2) years of experience with/in:

Use JD Edwards ("JDE") to analyze data and create purchase orders;
Ensure Supplier Quality compliance using Master Control and C2C;
Applying purchasing concepts and principles in a medical manufacturing production environment;
Knowledge of purchasing, inventory and distribution management and supplier relationship management; and
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice ("GMP").

Up to 10% international travel required. Telecommuting permitted.
