Job Title: Estimator – Homebuilding

Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 (negotiable – depending on experience)

Office based: Greater Indianapolis (north of the city)

The role of Estimator – Homebuilding will involve:

Conceptualize and provide detailed estimates for homebuilding projects of various sizes and complexities

Research prior estimating data to compile summary reports and develop guidelines for future homebuilding estimates

Communicate homebuilding estimates and preferred subcontractors to project management team for final buyouts

Maintain working knowledge of material unit costs, square foot costs, and total building square foot costs

Stay informed on changes and trends in construction methods, materials, and costs

The ideal applicant will be an Estimator – Homebuilding with:

Must have experience in homebuilding.

Ideally an estimator working for a homebuilder. Would consider purchasing coordinators, purchasing agents, or builders looking to take a step off the tools

Experience with estimating and cost management is a plus

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ideally have experience with Bluebeam
