**Pharmacist in Charge**

The WalmartRx Manager operates the pharmacy from a place of true caring. This role requires strong clinical knowledge and business acumen to ensure a high level of patient care while creating a strategy for growth.

We are looking for someone who shows autonomy, advocating for new initiatives, impacting their community, and leading by example. The successful candidate will set the tone for how we care for our patients and inspire their staff to do the same.

The pharmacy environment is fast-paced and equipped with the resources and technology needed to succeed. The biggest tool? Authentic connection with our patients, as they turn to Walmart for trusted care.

This role involves:

Providing comprehensive patient care to customers by processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, administering immunizations, and other programs developed by Walmart in compliance with Board of Pharmacy statutes and regulations.
Driving sales and profit in the Pharmacy and OTC areas by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, including accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, inventory levels, budgeting, and forecasting sales.
Modeling, enforcing, and providing direction and guidance to Associates on proper customer service approaches and techniques to ensure customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved within Company guidelines and standards.
Overseeing the implementation of and participating in community outreach programs and encouraging Associates to serve as good members of the community.
Ensuring compliance with Company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations for assigned areas by analyzing and interpreting reports, implementing and monitoring loss prevention and safety controls, overseeing safety operational and quality assurance reviews, developing and implementing action plans, and providing direction and guidance on executing Company programs and strategic initiatives.
Providing supervision and development opportunities for Associates in assigned areas by selecting, training, mentoring, assigning duties, providing performance feedback, providing recognition, and ensuring belonging awareness.
Ensuring confidentiality of information, documentation, and assigned records as required by Company policies and local State and Federal guidelines.
