Job summary
A Data Center Engineering Technician will maintain operate troubleshoot mission critical data center facility equipment including stand by diesel generators three phase electrical systems such as switch gear UPS units PDUs wet cell batteries associated systems CRAHU units centrifugal chillers cooling towers water chemical system air handlers pumps motors fire life safety equipment building automation systems general facilities equipment.
- Daily building rounds to monitor record information from electrical mechanical fire life safety equipment ensure 24/7 reliability availability.
- Monitor Building Management Systems Electrical Power Management System assist in troubleshooting of facility rack level events within internal Service Level Agreements SLA perform rack installs decommissioning PM troubleshooting root cause analysis repair of electrical mechanical equipment technical writing support change management program monitor daily work requests manage resolution execute projects conception completion on site support contractors sub contractors vendors ensuring all work performed established practices procedures local legislation.
