As a Security Officer - Flex Mobile Patrol in Bear, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to reduce security-related incidents. You will support employees and visitors through clear communication, detailed reporting, and customer service. What You'll Do

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a tech, media, and/or telecom location.

Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.

Monitor and respond to alarms, access control events, and/or other notifications; document observations and actions per post orders.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and/or local emergency services as needed.

Complete required reports such as shift activity logs, incident reports, and/or patrol documentation, and communicate pertinent information during shift briefings and/or pass-downs.

Minimum Requirements

Have 1+ years of security experience.
Be 21+ years of age.
A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
