    Description

    This opportunity is for a certified full-time elementary school educator at River City Science Academy in the Southeast. The school is welcoming students from kindergarten to 7th grade as it enters its second year of operation.

    If you do not possess a Florida teaching certification, there are other positions available, such as school paraprofessional, substitute teacher, or daycare teacher.

    • Prepare and execute Florida Standards unit and lesson plans utilizing innovative, hands-on, and challenging student-centered curriculum
    • Demonstrate a solid grasp and capability to uphold the school's mission and vision
    • Comprehend fundamental concepts, inquiry tools, and subject structure to make lessons relevant to students
    • Foster a culture of openness, fairness, respect, and inquiry while engaging students in meaningful learning experiences
    • Effectively communicate and collaborate with students, parents, colleagues, and the community
    • Model self-discipline and responsibility following Florida FEAP standards
    • Engage in community outreach and support students' well-being through collaboration with colleagues, parents, and the community
    • Cultivate a safe and inclusive classroom environment, managing misconduct and conflicts promptly
    • Promote independent and collaborative work habits
    • Utilize teaching strategies that cater to students' diverse backgrounds and needs
    • Implement technology effectively in teaching processes
    • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Principal

    Salary: $51,000.00 - $61,000.00 per year
