    Description

    The primary purpose of the LPN position is to provide direct nursing care to the residents, and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.

    Candidate Success Profile:

    • Always remembers to put the resident first.
    • Sets clear expectations with the nursing assistants in accordance to the current state regulations of a long term care facility.
    • Stays up-to-date on the latest and greatest nursing practices by becoming a life long learner.
    • Creates a positive impression with residents and their families by providing the highest quality of care.
    • Takes ownership of their respective administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charting, etc in a timely manner.
    • Solves issues by listening generously and embracing diverse perspectives.
    • Creates leaders within their team by effective mentoring and coaching.
