    SUMMARY

    Under the general super vision of the Chief Operating Officer, the TASP Program Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of programs addressing issues pertinent to children and youth.

    The TASP Program Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations for TASP.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES
    Responsible for the day-to day management of the Tenderloin After School Program (TASP).
    Oversee the coordination and implementation of diverse programs for TASP participants utilizing the positive youth development frame work.
    Programming addressing the needs of a diverse set of learners.
    Participate in annual performance plans and evaluations with direct reports.
    In conjunction with the Chief Operating Officer develop TASP annual budget.
    In conjunction with the Chief Operating Officer develop annual work plan.
    In conjunction with the Chief Operating Officer develop and track performance measures.
    Responsible for ensuring contract compliance with the Department of Children, Youth and their Families.
    School Liaison for high school and college attending participants.
    Develop curricula for 10-12 week college tour workshop.
    Oversee all aspects of the college tour planning.
    Implement and facilitate quarterly program planning process.
    Participate in monthly and/ or quarterly city funder meeting.
    Oversight of program inventory.
    Compile monthly, quarterly and year end reports for TASP.
    On-going management of the Contract Management System (CMS) for the program.
    Participate in staff focal point performance evaluations.
    Facilitate weekly team meetings.
    Facilitate weekly supportive supervision of direct reports.
    Ensure programmatic and staff compliance with all Federal, State and local Protective Services Reporting Procedures.
    Oversee and maintain accurate and up-to-date records for program participants.
    Ensure accurate and up-to date records on each volunteer.
    Assist in fund development activities related to promoting and funding program operations.
    Uphold, implement, and revise TASP Policies and Procedures annually.

    Administer Human Service Agency Community Grocery Grant funding, which includes ordering, distribution, staffing, data collection, input and reporting for food delivered through TASP.

    Other duties as assigned.

    A few evening hours per week and occasional weekend hours required.
    Comfort working some non-standard hours.
    Ability to perform occasional manual labor.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
    Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Work, Counseling or related field.
    Five years of experience working with children and youth from very low-income households.
    Three years of experience with supervising, guiding and overseeing the work of others.
    Three years of experience using positive youth development framework as a platform for program development.
    Three years of demonstrated experience and commitment to promoting equity and social justice in program development.
    Familiarity and experience embodying, upholding and practicing the principles of cultural humility with program participants, team members and colleagues.
    Valid driver's license.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
    Master's degree in Education, Social Work, Counseling or related field.

    Bilingual:
    English/Spanish or Arabic/English.

    Curriculum Development in an after school context.
