    Description

    Title: Registered Nurse, Progressive Care Unit/Intermediate Care (PCU/IMC)

    Specialty: PCU/IMC

    Job Type: Permanent

    Shift: 12 Hours, Nights

    Location: Fort Worth, TX



    Responsibilities:

    • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the PCU/IMC setting, including assessment, monitoring, and intervention.

    • Monitor patients' vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and oxygenation levels, and intervene as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

    • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

    • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised care plans.

    • Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment plans, and self-care strategies.

    • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments and interventions.



    Requirements:

    • Diploma or Associates Degree in Nursing (required); BSN preferred.

    • Current RN licensure is in Texas.

    • Previous experience in PCU/IMC nursing preferred.

    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

    • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred.
