Job Description:
The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) is on the lookout for talented individuals to fill the role of Outpatient Forensic Psychologist. In this role, you'll be tasked with conducting criminal forensic evaluations under the guidance of a hospital forensic director.
Key responsibilities include conducting face-to-face forensic mental health assessments to determine trial competency and criminal responsibility, preparing reports, delivering expert testimony, and other relevant tasks. This role will involve traveling within the designated catchment area. Additionally, obtaining the state's Competency to Stand Trial Certification within a year of joining is a must for ongoing employment.

Licenses must be valid and permit practice within Georgia. Various evaluations and vaccinations might be mandatory for all employees, regardless of direct care involvement, including drug screening, TB assessments, and annual influenza vaccinations (with limited exemptions for medical reasons or religious beliefs).
