Position:
Accounting Manager


Responsibilities:
Develop and manage comprehensive financial plans, budgets, forecasts, and statements to guide strategic decisions and ensure compliance
Oversee and streamline accounts payable, receivable, commission calculations, and general ledger activities for optimal financial operations
Coordinate tax planning and compliance, facilitate timely tax and payroll filings, and manage annual audits to meet financial regulations
Establish and maintain robust financial systems and controls to protect assets and ensure accurate data
Conduct month-end and year-end closings, P&L and multistate accounting, and detailed financial analysis of operating expenses
Support audit processes, enhance financial procedures, and ensure accurate reconciliation of financial records
Correct discrepancies in financial entries, review accounts payable, and manage bank and account reconciliations
Handle special projects and provide ad-hoc analysis as required
Perform bookkeeping activities, ensuring precise financial record keeping and compliance with legal and organizational standards


Requirements:
Bachelor s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field;CPA or MBA is preferred
5+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with a focus on financial management and analysis
Experience in the staffing or professional services industry is preferred
Strong knowledge of GAAP principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations
Tech-savvy and proficient in accounting software (e.
G., QuickBooks, Salesforce, Netsuite) and Microsoft Excel
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally between departments
Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills
Must be polished and professional
Self-motivated, passionate, and hungry to make a big impact
Ability to multitask and work in a fast pace and quick-moving environment

Candidate must sit onsite in San Diego, CA
