Located in the headquarters of Stranco Field Services LLC in Houma, Louisiana, the Shop Maintenance Technician is a key position supporting the field, project, shop/maintenance facility, and rental functions within the Operations Department.
The successful technician can work in a diverse, fast-paced, team-oriented environment with flexibility to work hours needed to meet critical customer and project deadlines.
Requirements Troubleshoot, maintain and repair all equipment in the warehouse (to be dispatched as stand-alone rentals or on service projects in field locations).
This includes cleaning, painting, etc.Perform maintenance and refurbishment of temperature and pressure chart recorders in warehouseDrive company vehicles to make scheduled or unscheduled deliveriesGather required equipment from warehouse stock for rental or service jobsLoad and unload equipment and supplies going out or coming in from rental or service jobsInspect, repair, clean and test hoses prior to rolling and storingDaily housekeeping and maintenance of the shop, warehouse and all work stationsFleet maintenance, repair, and cleaning of all company vehicles and trailersRespond to service calls as required to supplement the Field Technician teamPerform other duties as prioritized by the Shop Maintenance Manager or Operations management on a scheduled and unscheduled basisQualifications High School diploma or equivalent preferredMUST be extremely mechanically inclinedMUST be available for after hours, weekend and call-out work for rental support and service jobs (on call rotation is in place for equipment rentals)
MUST be extremely reliableMUST have valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record in accordance with Stranco guidelines (some positions will require valid CDL endorsement) Physical QualificationsLifting up to 50 lbs and carry up to 30 lbs Bending, Stooping and ability to stand for extended periods of time Working in hot and cold temperatures Non-Exempt ClassificationTravel:
