    Job Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Leads staff to ensure effective workflow by planning, directing, training, coaching, and assisting with performance evaluations.
    • Perform and document quality control activities for accurate test results.
    • Conduct phlebotomy procedures and maintain patient satisfaction.
    • Prepare specimens accurately and analyze them for diagnosis.
    • Provide age-specific care and lead staff for efficient workflow.
    • Ensure compliance with CLIA guidelines.

    Schedule:

    • Methodist Physicians Clinic- 1 Edmundson Place, Council Bluffs, IA

    Location:

    • Monday-Friday, 4 days/week, full time, day shift hours vary

    Salary:

    Job Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology from a NAACLS-accredited program with ASCP registry or registry eligibility required.
    • OR Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) or Department of Health, Education, and Welfare (HEW) Certificate required.
    • OR Military training month program) required.
    • OR Bachelor's degree in Clinical Lab Science from a NAACLS-accredited program with ASCP registry or registry eligibility required.
    • Minimum of two (2) years Medical Technology and/or lab experience required.
    • Proof of certification or completion of training program required as applicable.
    • Copy of degree from NAACLS-accredited program required
