    Job Overview
    A well-regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Employment Law Associate Attorney with a minimum of 4 years of experience to join its team in Denver, CO. The successful candidate will have a strong background in employment litigation, including wage and hour claims, employment discrimination, and non-competition matters. The role involves providing employment counseling, drafting policies, and responding to EEOC and similar agency charges. Ideal candidates will possess excellent research, writing, and analytical skills, as well as a client-focused approach to managing complex legal issues.

    Location

    Duties

    1. Handle employment litigation, including wage and hour, discrimination, and non-competition cases.
    2. Lead responses to EEOC charges and analogous state/local agency charges.
    3. Provide employment counseling and draft/review policies, including separation agreements, non-competes, and executive employment agreements.
    4. Conduct employment due diligence for mergers and acquisitions.
    5. Write legal memoranda, briefs, and other documents related to employment law matters.
    6. Maintain a manageable caseload while working with clients to achieve favorable outcomes.
    7. Engage in business development and marketing efforts to generate new business.
    8. Support senior attorneys in handling complex legal issues at a national level.

    Requirements

    1. Minimum of 4 years of experience in employment law.
    2. Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
    3. Experience with employment litigation, including wage and hour, discrimination, and non-compete matters.
    4. Experience in employment counseling and policy drafting.
    5. Active Colorado bar license or eligibility to become admitted to the Colorado bar.
    6. Proven ability to handle complex legal matters with a client-oriented approach.
    7. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage a challenging workload.

    Education

    1. Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

    Certifications

    1. Active Colorado bar license or eligibility to be admitted to the Colorado bar.

    Skills

    1. Excellent legal research and writing skills.
    2. Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
    3. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
    4. Client-focused approach with a strong work ethic.
