Required Education:
Bachelors degree in a relevant field or comparable experience
Required Experience:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite specifically Microsoft Excel
In-depth knowledge of project management and data collection and analysis techniques
Ability to multi-task and adhere to strict deadlines
Exceptional organizational and communication skills
Advanced writing and editing skills
Duties and Responsibilities:
Collect key metrics and data for all energy projects in the Lead By Example program
Establish databases and other data management tools to effectively track project status, impact, and cost
Analyze and organize data for inclusion in quarterly/annual reports, websites, presentations, and other communications
Draft, update, and facilitate execution of key program documents, including memorandums of understanding, contract amendments, and requests for proposals
Schedule and attend weekly project management meetings
Take meeting minutes for each meeting
Facilitate project discussions and ensure project implementation proceeds smoothly
Assist with the review and approval of change orders and payment applications for active projects
Troubleshoot, alongside the department consultants, any issues encountered during project execution
Oversee the collection and tabulation of solar PV production data from facilities
Update and distribute weekly and monthly solar production reports
Coordinate and troubleshoot any issues with solar module operation, functionality, or connectivity with solar operations & maintenance vendor
Assemble and upload relevant data to support State participation in, and payment from, demand response programming
Schedule and organize occasional meetings with public stakeholders
Conduct outreach to solicit participation in Lead by Example programs and provide logistical and outreach support for the annual Lead by Example Awards event
Represent the department at public events (e.g. RI Home Show, Conventions, Expos) as needed
Make occasional site visits to troubleshoot problems, check on project progress, take photos, or collect data
