    Role Summary/PurposeThe Lean Coordinator will report directly to the Site Value Stream Coach. The Lean Coordinator is responsible for supporting lean transformation, standard work, data collection and other kaizen related activities. Works closely with Value Stream Coach and site personnel to develop lean capabilities for everyone at the site.


    Work Schedule:

    Monday to Friday 7am to 3:30pmLearn to become a true agent of change, improve personal change management capabilities, and ensure rigor around execution of the kaizen activities.

    Support the lean vision and continuous improvement strategy by advancing the customer experience through improved cycle time, on-time delivery, and ensure all other customer critical to quality areas are at the forefront of the strategy.

    Become comfortable teaching others in lean methodology, principles, and tools.

    Ensure compliance with standard processes and tools, support other associates to develop and follow their personal standard work, yielding a culture of system, process, and behavior discipline to get results.

    Adhere to standards within the Business Operating System known as the Wabtec Management SystemQualifications / RequirementsHigh School diploma or equivalent certification.

    Must have a strong interest in Toyota Production System (TPS), and continuous improvement.
    Willingness to learn how to develop standard work, visual management and structured problem solving.
    A passion to collaborate with other associates to create customer solutions.
    Strong attendance history and above average performance reviewsPrior manufacturing or related experience along with participation continuous improvement related activities.
