    As a Sr.

    Compensation Analyst, you will have the opportunity to:


    Oversees and administers the compensation program and salary/ wage structures designed to ensure our Clinic & Administrative Staff are paid competitively and equitably, in collaboration with Compensation Dept.

    Leadership.

    Conducts annual and ad-hoc market pricing surveys for our clinic and administrative positions. Analyzes findings and provides recommendations ensuring our structures remain in line with market, while also considering internal factors.

    Reviews new & edited positions:
    Proofing job descriptions and ensuring consistency of requirements and core competencies.

    May provide assessments on FLSA exemption status, when appropriate.

    Benchmarks roles to the external market utilizing available survey sources.

    In conjunction with department leadership recommends the appropriate pay grade to slot positions into the pay structure.

    Presents findings and recommendations to the hiring manager/ department leader and seeks agreement.

    Collaborates with the compensation coordinator to finalize the administrative processes to create the position.


    As required, collaborates with Recruiting in reviewing job offers to ensure offers are in accordance with our program and policies, while also checking for internal equity issues and attractiveness to the candidate.

    Collaborates with dept.

    leadership in maintaining, updating and organizing compensation program tools, documentation and collateral, including, but not limited to:
    pay structures, survey libraries, job offer tools, experience crediting guidelines.


    Provides analysis and recommendations on various compensation projects, assessing the feasibility, associated costs and challenges of the proposed revision to the program, while also providing market intelligence to support & justify the project.


    Makes recommendations to department leadership related to Clinic and Administrative Staff Compensation policies, processes, and procedures to ensure the compensation program is efficient, transparent, internally equitable, consistently applied, and compliant with government regulations.

    Interacts with cross functional teams and staff members in various departments on clinical and administrative staff compensation matters.

    Assists compensation department leadership in training supervisory staff & employees on the compensation program.


    Engages and consults with employees & supervisors in multiple functional areas across the organization to gain in-depth knowledge of the business, identify emerging issues/ compensation challenges, and provide business focused solutions.


    Assists daily in monitoring and responding to supervisory and employee compensation requests, questions and concerns that are submitted to a departmental email inbox.


    Conducts non-standard pay reviews due to changes of status, job description modifications, temporary assignments, special projects, and approved requests for updated market data.


    Assists in maintaining the job description library for all staff positions; ensuring an up-to-date list is maintained, organized and job descriptions accurately reflect the work.

    Collaborates with compensation consultants/ vendors, as needed.

    Assists compensation coordinator and/or HR operations in administratively processing compensation related requests and forms.

    Learns key stills and tasks performed by other members of the compensation team (i.e. Provider Compensation), actively cross training and collaboratively supporting all members of the dept.

    Assists the Provider Compensation Analyst with program material updates and incentive plan calculations. Supports the provider compensation function, addressing routine questions and requests, as needed.

    Performs other related duties as assigned.


    Qualifications:

    Education:
    Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Computer Science, Finance, Mathematics or Statistics. Associate's Degree and two additional years of relevant experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree. High School Diploma or GED and four additional years of relevant experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree. Master's Degree preferred.


    Experience:
    Four years' progressively responsible experience in compensation working with complex variable and fixed compensation plans. This requirement includes one year of data reporting and analytics experience. A Master's Degree may substitute for two years' required experience. Experience overseeing staff compensation in a multi-location health care, medical clinic, or hospital environment preferred.


    Professional Licenses/Certificates/Registration:
    Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred.


    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
    Knowledge of principles, practices, and methods related to compensation best practice including multiple compensation concepts and systems. Knowledge of principles, practices, and methods related to human services management. Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws, standards and requirements related to human resource and compensation programs. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, including efficiency in public speaking situations. Ability to manage and lead special projects from inception through completion. Skills in problem-solving, sound judgement, and conflict resolution. Strong organization skills. Ability to prioritize work and handle a variety of tasks simultaneously. Effective verbal, written and listening communication skills with individuals and groups. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff at all corporate levels. Intermediate proficiency with a variety of computer programs including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Basic proficiency with database program like Access preferred. Knowledge of survey design and collection. Strong analytical skills to interpret survey data. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
