    Job DescriptionSalary: $80,000-$120,000

    Summary: IHL is looking for a Senior Designer to join our team This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has previous experience working within the sportswear and/or activewear category, is comfortable working in the off-price market, and looking to grow with the company.

    IHL Group was established in 2007. Since it opened its doors, IHL Group has securely positioned itself as a recognized manufacturer and wholesaler with its North American and global presence across all major channels.

    Responsibilities:

    • Own design process for the entire product life cycle.
    • Create flat sketches & CAD presentations providing a color / print vision for each season.
    • Creat cohesive mood boards & trend presentations.
    • Maintain consistent communication with cross functional teams Tech, Production, Print, and Sales.
    • Conduct market and graphic research in order to create innovative product.
    • Translate trends into the off-price market.
    • Work with the Design Director to ensure all designs are aligned with vision and business need.
    • Create tech packs.
    • Manage calendar to follow deadlines and ship dates.
    • Make sure each step of the product process from inception to production is carefully reviewed & followed with a lot of attention to detail. Including fittings, lab dips, etc.

    Qualifications:

    • Must have womenswear activewear/sportswear design experience.
    • 8+ years' working in the off-price market.
    • A Degree in Fashion Design.
    • Must have knowledge of sportswear construction & fabrications.
    • Keen eye for color & print.
    • Excellent organizational skills & strong attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in ADOBE Creative Suite such Microsoft Office, Adobe Illustrator, and photoshop.

    Job Logistics

    Location: New York, NY – Midtown West

    Schedule: We are operating in-office Monday-Friday.

    Compensation: The anticipated base salary range for this position is $80,000-$120,000
