Prime Air Quality is seeking an experienced Sr. Design Quality Assurance Engineer.
The successful candidate will have a strong track record of leading Hardware/Software Quality and Design Assurance engineering initiatives for certifying highly complex products in the aerospace, aviation maintenance industries.
The right candidate will also be a strong integrator who prioritizes well and communicates effectively.Export Control License:
This position may require a deemed export control license for compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Placement is contingent on Amazon's ability to apply for and obtain an export control license on your behalf.
- Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional test procedures
- Experience in aviation regulatory compliance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 7+ years' experience leading software quality assurance activities from inception of project to delivery to support DO178C certification, and DO330, DO331, DO33 7+ years' experience auditing design activities and perform process assurance activities to ensure lifecycle processes comply with approved plans and standards (ARP4754)
- 5+ years' experience monitoring test execution
- 5+ years' experience performing conformity reviews
- 5+ years' experience participating FAA audits and change control boards
- Strong command of product development lifecycle processes
- Demonstrated Experience with PLM, JAMA, and other common tools
- Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent
- Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production
- Experience with the project management of technical projects
- 10+ years' experience with DQA activities in DO178 Compliance and Auditing
- 5+ years' experience with DO254 and DO278 Compliance and Auditing
- Demonstrated Experience with (FAA) 14 CFR requirements

Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
