    Responsibilities:

    Conducts QA laboratory sampling, testing, data entry, and reporting per published laboratory test methods and department work instructions.

    Verifies lab test results versus established published acceptance ranges.

    Communicates any out of spec test data to lab manager.

    Query SAP to obtain a list of raw materials available for test analysis.

    Perform data entry and analysis of results in SAP. Including closing out work orders.


    Contributes to the development and improvement of work instructions, forms, and records pertaining to the QA Lab Tech's' areas of responsibility.

    Works with plant technical staff to ensure lab capability, compliance and correlation as required.

    Maintains a safe workplace and workforce while accomplishing tasks.

    Contributes to department efforts to improve lab function as regards safety and quality.

    Supports problem solving efforts as directed by lab manager.

    Performs instrument calibrations and adjustments per established instructions and alerts lab manager when out of compliance conditions occur.

    Performs minor repairs to lab equipment as instructed.


    Qualifications:

    Associate's degree in Technology or laboratory technology or related field.

    2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing laboratory environment.

    Experience with basic quality system requirements regarding procedures, methods, certification and standardized operations.

    Experience in laboratory test procedure development, data analysis, instrument calibration/repair.

    Background in quality and parts manufacture/assembly.

    Ability to work with broad range of people.


    Proficiency in MS Office software and experience with document control, process control, basic SPC and basic knowledge of Systems Applications & Products in Data Processing (SAP) preferred.

    Knowledge of basic electrical principles and knowledge of LI-Ion cell technology preferred.
