Full time Hospitalist position available working for a private group at Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital. Position is a 7 on 7 off work cycle from 7p-7a. This position does new patient admissions ONLY. No rounding. No code response. No cross coverage calls. ONLY ADMISSIONS

Job Description

• Provide excellent patient care
• Create and recommend treatment plans.
• Take patient medical histories.
• Order tests for health care staff to administer
• Respond to questions and concerns from patients about their health care and well-being
• Work with various medical staff such as an anesthesiologist, surgeons, and nurses to provide patient care.
  
  Hospitalist Requirements
• MD, or Professional Degree in Medicine from an accredited medical school.
• Current M.D. or D.O. Texas license
• Certification in BCLS, ACLS required if stress tests performed or as required by specialty.
• Current State and Federal Narcotics Licenses.
