    Hublot of America is seeking for a Senior Accounting Manager who will be responsible to own the general accounting and tax functions, which include accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, treasury, inventory, assets management and taxes.

    This person will be responsible for the accounting and tax functions for two entities (a US and a Canadian entity. This person will lead and develops the Accounting Team that is in charge of the of day-to-day operations. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    • Responsible for the integrity of the general ledger accounts, verifying that P&L accounts are used consistently and that all balance sheet accounts balances can be substantiated.
    • Prepares, reviews, reports and analyzes financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
    • In charge of closing the books in an accurate and timely manner. a. Prior to close, reviews activity and make sure any anomaly has been identified, investigated, and solved. b. During close, ensures all accounting tasks are performed according to the monthly close check list c. After the close, leads the monthly accounts and balance sheet review with the VP Finance
    • Review, control and approve monthly bank reconciliations.
    • Develops staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships.
    • Partners with all departments (logistics, sales, marketing, retail, etc.) that have an impact on financial statements to understand key business initiatives and ensure that the financial implications of those initiatives are captured properly in the books and records.
    • Supports our retail network for all matters related to accounting (payments, sales tax, etc.) and provides training as needed.

    Responsible for the Tax function:
    Income tax, Sales tax (US) / Indirect tax (Canada), Local taxes and other

    • Serves as key business / financial consultant for various business departments.
    • Ensures that adequate provisions or allowances are maintained for returns, inventories, receivables, deferred rent, warranties, and other obligations.
    • Primary contact for tax auditors, local tax authorities, and tax advisors.
    • Improve and secure all Accounting-related operational processes through automation and streamlining current process.
    • Performs ad hoc analysis and projects as needed.
    • Responsible of recruiting and training for the accounting team.
    • Able to conduct performances review, coaching and counseling.
    • Able to provide feedback while fostering developtment and growth mindset
    • Responsible for team's payroll

    • Demonstrated ability to communicate with customers, co-workers, and business contacts in a courteous and professional manner both in written and verbal formats

    • Bachelor or master's degree in Accounting or Finance
    • At least 8-10 years of relevant experience required
    • Previous Managerial experience is required.
