    Vale Group has partnered with an established and respected company in the commercial construction field based in Charlotte, NC who is actively searching for an experienced Commercial Construction Assistant Project Manager to work ON-SITE, for an opportunity paying between $75k -$100k annually, based on experience and qualifications.

    You will work closely with project managers architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards. Experience in large-scale hospital/healthcare or similar commercial construction projects is highly preferred.

    Requirements of the Commercial Construction Assistant Project Manager:

    • 1-3 years of experience in commercial construction management, with a strong preference for experience in large-scale healthcare projects.
    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred
    • OSHA 10 or 30-hour construction safety certification.
    • Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and quality control.
    • Strong organizational, and communication skills.
    • Proficiency with construction management software.
    Responsibilities of the Commercial Construction Assistant Project Manager:
    • Manage and coordinate all project phases, from pre-construction and planning through completion and turnover.
    • Oversee contract negotiations, project scheduling, budgeting, and compliance with specifications.
    • Ensure safety regulations are followed, maintaining a strong focus on OSHA compliance.
    • Facilitate communication across project teams and with stakeholders to ensure objectives are clear and progress is reported.
    • Address and resolve issues that arise during construction, including delays or emergencies.
    • Manage subcontractor selection, contract administration, and procurement.
    • Conduct site inspections and project reviews to monitor progress and adherence to plans and specifications.
