    TRISTAR is an IT Project Coordinator for our government customer in Bloomington, IN

    Position Description

    :

    The IT Project Coordinator will provide administrative support for a govt customer overseeing a rebuild of a legacy system

    Play critical role in achieving short and long term milestones for the project

    Communicate regularly with members of the team to ensure progress is being made and actions are being completed on time and within project deadlines

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues

    Assists with preparing and maintaining documentation for processes, policies, procedures, and tracking of overall project

    Position Responsibilities:

    Assist in the creation of project plans, develop project scope and objectives, assure that relevant information is captured and analyzed, draft business and system processes, assess risks and track progress

    Translate scope and objectives into tasks and schedules, assign and monitor tasks

    Create and maintain the product backlog, ensuring that it accurately reflex the priorities and requirements for the project

    Collaborate with stakeholders to define product vision, strategy, and road map

    Monitoring daily the sprint, ensuring timely updates, and tracking of project tasks. Reporting any issues to govt stakeholders

    Ensure business logic and decisions are accurately recorded

    Record and store meeting minutes, capturing critical discussions and decisions for future reference and alignment

    Record and track action items

    Position Requirements:

    Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment

    Experience working with a cross-functional team to deliver high-quality products on schedule

    Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills

    Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and principles

    Analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable plans

    Experience working with a ticketing system

    Proficiency in documenting project plan clearly and concisely

    Knowledge of information systems development life cycle, information technology, project tools and approaches to development and implementation

    MUST be a US Citizen

    Must have active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one

    Education and Certification:

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

    IAT level II certification with DoD 8570 (Example CompTIA Security Plus) or willingness to obtain prior to start date
