The city of Beaverton is hiring an assistant city engineer to help lead public works engineering division.This position manages capital improvement program, supervises senior engineers and oversees budgeting and project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Division leadership supervision planning develop review implement work plans policies procedures reports set performance standards evaluate program effectiveness serve on public works department senior management team supervise support staff meet departmental goals assign review work make hiring decisions provide coaching training conduct performance evaluations manage disciplinary processes
- CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM CIP oversight LEAD planning budget execution monitor budgets schedules change orders ensure projects stay track oversee project program managers phases project delivery
