- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or related science
- 5+ years related experience
- Proficient with HPLC, Dissolution apparatus, Karl Fischer water titration, GPC, particle size, pH, FTIR, Colorimeter, and/or UV-Vis spectrophotometry
- Experience in proper use of lab notebooks according to cGMPs and GLPs
- Familiar with Waters software
- Method development for various pipeline products
- Method validation activities
- Dissolution development
- Analysis of formulation and/or R&D samples, assist other departments in analyzing samples as requested.
- Write SOPs, protocols and reports to describe department activities.
- Perform technical transfer duties as needed.
- Perform analyses in support of OOS or aberrant analytical results.
- Contribute in viable ways to improve work procedures and methods in own work unit, contributing to overall efficiencies or quality of work/products.
- Knowledge of cGMP guidelines, ability to maintain laboratory records according to cGMPs and GLPs.
- Interact closely with project teams and across departments
- Provide detailed and thorough peer review of data.
- May serve as a contact for vendors and contract laboratories.
- Participates in departmental meetings and teams as assigned by supervisor.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and works in a safe manner.
- Support lab management during investigations

The Analytica Scientist, under general supervision, conducts routine method development activities. May conduct some non-routine/non-GXP testing as needed. Perform review of other chemist notebooks and data. Perform routine maintenance and calibration of analytical instruments. Perform quality inspector duties.
