Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Griffith, IN, for a Mechanical Estimator. The Mechanical Estimator will be responsible for analyzing project specifications and drawings to prepare cost estimates for mechanical systems.

This includes evaluating labor, materials, and timelines; liaising with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing; preparing proposals and bid submissions; and collaborating with project managers and engineers to ensure the accuracy of cost estimates and adherence to project requirements.

Qualifications
Proficiency in reading and understanding blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
Strong mathematical, analytical, and organizational skills for creating accurate and competitive estimates
Knowledge of mechanical systems and heating equipment and ability to estimate related project requirements
Proficiency in using estimation software, spreadsheets, and other relevant tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with team members, contractors, and clients
Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines effectively
Previous experience in mechanical estimating or a related construction field preferred but not a must
