- Assists in organizing logistical details for meetings, conferences, seminars, lecture series, workshops, tours, and other events hosted by SFA Gardens.
- Monitors and assists with SFA Gardens fundraising activities.
- Assists in compiling, monitoring, tracking, and analyzing accounting, budgeting, and financial data for SFA Gardens.
- Assists in preparing, editing, and organizing materials for SFA Gardens workshops, events, and outreach efforts.
- Assists in planning, organizing, and facilitating SFA Gardens workshops and events.
- Assists in promoting services of SFA Gardens by providing faculty, staff, students, and the general public with applicable materials and information.
- Maintains and updates SFA Gardens records.
- Assists in preparing, compiling, editing, updating, and disseminating various reports and documents.
- Assists in responding to inquiries and providing ongoing support related to SFA Gardens operations, products, and services through e-mail, phone, and personal interaction.
- Receives payments from students and others for activities sponsored by SFA Gardens.

- Skill in using computer applications including spreadsheet, database, and word processing software.

General Job Description

This is a part-time administrative support position responsible for assisting in planning, organizing, and performing a wide variety of administrative and program support functions.
Responsible for coordinating and participating in the administrative functions supporting SFA Gardens events and fundraising activities; providing customer service and support to program-related contacts; and maintaining various files and records.
Works under general supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Reports to the Associate Director, SFA Gardens.Essential Job Functions

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities or be able to explain and demonstrate that the individual can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Required Education
