    We're actively hiring in Faribault, MN as a Materials Supervisor to oversee the warehouse activities, provide direction to the team, and ensure accurate reporting on material operations.

    We seek an experienced professional with exceptional leadership skills to oversee materials management processes and drive operational excellence within this manufacturing organization.

    Paying up to $80K with a bonus incentive


    Responsibilities:


    Lead and supervise the materials management team, ensuring they aligned with the mission of maintaining optimal inventory levels in appropriate locations.


    Collaborate closely with the Materials Manager to execute strategies that align with the overarching goal of having the right inventory at the right time.

    Implement and enhance inventory control measures to maintain accurate stock levels and minimize excess or shortage risks.

    Develop and enforce effective inventory management procedures to improve efficiency and support operational demands.

    Work collaboratively with procurement teams to ensure timely sourcing and procurement of materials while maintaining cost-effectiveness.

    Coordinate with production and operations departments to forecast material requirements and streamline supply chain processes.

    Regularly assess materials usage, analyze data, and propose improvements to minimize waste and enhance resource optimization.

    Uphold safety protocols and standards concerning materials handling, storage, and transportation.

    Maintain meticulous records of inventory, conduct regular audits, and oversee reconciliations.

    Evaluate supplier performance and negotiate contracts to ensure favorable terms and pricing.


    Requirements:
    Proven track record in materials management or a supervisory role, preferably within manufacturing or warehouse environments.

    Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft platforms and ERP systems.

    Need to understand simple mathematics for SOP manuals and inventory management

    Thorough knowledge of safety and regulatory standards in materials handling.

    Ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced setting.
