Required Qualifications — Cath Lab RN
Active RN license (Texas or compact state)
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2–3 years recent, relevant Cath Lab RN experience
Proficiency with EPIC and Mac-Lab systems
Strong knowledge of cardiac rhythms and telemetry monitoring
Experience with IABP, Impella, OCT, and IVUS devices
Preferred Qualifications
Previous travel RN experience or experience working in high-volume interventional cardiology labs
ICU or telemetry background preferred
Responsibilities — Cath Lab Registered Nurse
Provide high-quality peri-procedural nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; recognize and respond to arrhythmias and emergencies
Prepare, operate, and assist with specialized cath lab equipment including IABP, Impella, OCT, and IVUS
Document patient care accurately using EPIC and Mac-Lab electronic health record systems
Participate in on-call rotation and respond promptly when needed, following facility on-call protocols
Collaborate with interventional cardiologists, cardiovascular technologists, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
