    • Provides resident centered personal care including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, obtaining vital signs, psychosocial support and other personal cares. Assists residents in transferring, repositioning and walking using correct and appropriate transfer techniques and equipment; Completes tasks related to dining and food preparation. Assists residents with meals and snacks, provides water and supplements as appropriate. Accurately documents outcomes related to resident cares, medications/treatments, behaviors, activities and dietary. Provides housekeeping and laundry services to assist residents with keeping living areas clean and operational; follows consistent hand washing and Personal Protective Equipment use. Provides assistance/documentation with wellness and recreational programs and encourages residents to participate. Must possess a desire to work with residents in subacute care and long term care.
    High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.
    Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.

    Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement.

    CNA training and certification required and provided by facility.
    Satisfactorily completes yearly department specific competency testing and maintains a record of continuing education credits for each year. Dependent on facility and required responsibilities, this role may classify as a Sanford Category II Driver requiring a motor
    this position as per our Sanford Driving Policy per the leaders request.
