    The Deposit Quality Control Specialist is responsible for reviewing and monitoring of customer profile and accounts onboarded to ensure accuracy and integrity of customer and imaged data. Performs quality control review of account maintenance. Maintains high level of knowledge and understanding of customer profiles, deposit account origination, proper titling, and required documentation. This position requires an in-depth understanding of the operational functions required to deliver and support the bank's products and services and thorough knowledge of operational procedures and banking regulations. Will be accountable for maintaining exceptional customer service standards.

    Essential Functions:
    1. Responsible for quality assurance for new deposit accounts, ensuring all CIP information and OFAC processes were fulfilled in agreement with regulations, policies and procedures.
    2. Verify maintenances changes for deposit products, charge codes and rates.
    3. Provide support and answers questions related to new account maintenance.
    4. Review the accuracy of correspondence mailed to new/existing clients.
    5. Maintain missing/incomplete tracking logs for new account quality assurance.
    6. Track rate deviation for management.
    7. Review Reg CC holds, ensures proper application and documentation.
    8. Complete annual review of IRA and HSA tax reporting.
    9. Empowered to respond to requests and work to resolve complex issues.
    10. Recognize problems that could have a customer or regulatory impact and escalate it to appropriate department manager.
    11. Monitor the work queues, filters requests for handling and assigns to department staff.
    12. Handle interbank correspondence, research, and escalated issues.
    13. Various other deposit operation functions, as assigned.
    Additional Responsibilities:
    1. Report to work on daily basis.
    2. Involved in business development projects.
    3. Understanding of General Ledger Entries.
    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    1. Excellent organizational skills
    2. Ability to perform multiple projects and work in fast-paced environment with little supervision
    3. Ability to perform with acute attention to detail
    4. Strong working comprehension with Electronic Banking, Operations Activities and Federal Deposit Regulations and disclosures
    5. Strong decision-making process that is thoughtful and informed
    6. Knowledge of ACH Rules and Regulations
    7. General mathematical, and analytical skills for immediate and accurate results
    8. Proficient skill in Word and Excel
    9. Ability to perform 10-key processing by touch
    10. Must possess ability to think critically and resolve issues across multiple departments and systems
    11. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
    12. Knowledge of Federal and State banking regulations, their impact on account holders and how each impacts the handling of operational tasks
    Educations and experience:
    1. College Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
    2. Three to Five years of experience in banking with knowledge of regulatory compliance experience required
    3. Two-year experience in a customer service-related role.
