    This top ENR General Contractor has been in the industry for over 50 years and has continued their success through repeat business and getting into mulitple project sectors.

    They are known for their attention to detail throughout the construction process. Work as a Chief Estimator for a national general contractor that focuses on retail, commercial, industrial, and mutlifamily projects. Includes staffing and all stages of employee development.
    ~ See a project from conceptual bidding to bid
    ~ Ensures all pending estimates are submitted thoroughly, completely, and on-time with high quality.
    ~* Develop and guide larger or complex estimates while working alongside and supporting the estimating team.
    ~ Establish estimating standards for all estimates and oversee analysis of past performance on estimates.
    ~ Engage with Director of Preconstruction, Business Development and Operations team or appropriate staff, including MEP, virtual design and/or field, throughout the preconstruction process as needed to ensure understanding of the project goals, client goals, and drive the estimate strategy throughout the estimating process and review.
    ~ Build strong relationships with subcontractor partners through attendance in subcontractor events/gatherings.
    ~ Track subcontractor reviews to look for new vendors and ways to support long standing relationships and/or diversity sub engagement.
    ~ Oversee final subcontractor and vendor selections while applying prequalification standards and procedures.
    ~ Develop and maintain client, architect, subcontractor, and other industry relationships at the appropriate level, reinforcing commitment to continuously address their needs and interests.
    ~ Ensure profitable project budgets. Responsible to oversee the estimate hand-off process between preconstruction and operations.
    ~ Collaborate with Director of Preconstruction to manage and further develop the estimating internship and mentoring program.
    ~ Collaborate with Director of Preconstruction to collaborate with MEP and Virtual Design
