- Foster a culture of compliance by ensuring thorough understanding and adherence to established policies and procedures.
- Work towards achieving inventory and turn goals, balancing the equation with sustained service levels and minimal distress.
- Scrutinize acquisition costs, striving for the lowest cost while considering factors such as quality, source reliability, and urgency.
- Evaluate current inventory, market conditions, availability, and promotional impact to provide insightful recommendations to the merchandising team.
- Conduct comprehensive post-promotional reviews and analyses to assess the fulfillment of promotional requirements and devise effective solutions for any identified problem areas.
- Address inventory issues at the store level arising from allocations or order discrepancies with a proactive and problem-solving approach.
- Review and analyze daily and weekly reports, making informed adjustments to costs, quality, service levels, inventory turns, and distress as needed.
- Visit stores as required to monitor program implementation, collect valuable store feedback, and assess the overall effectiveness of the implemented strategies.
- Minimum of 1 year of Purchasing, Vendor Management, Supply Chain, Logistics related experience
- Understanding of procurement, logistics, inventory management, marketing, accounting and financial management practices.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills; ability to take initiative and make fact- based decisions.
- Ability to plan and organize effectively.
- Written and verbal communication skills as well as interpersonal skills to develop and maintain effective business relationships both internally and externally.
- Strong computer aptitude in MS Office including Word and Excel.
- Ability to have direct and effective conversations with other areas of the business and vendor partners
