Job Description

As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in Laurel, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced manufacturing and industrial location as an unarmed patrol officer with a driving post requirement. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, support access control and badging, and respond to concerns with strong customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to onsite contacts and/or emergency services as required.

Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and perimeter fencing; working conditions may vary by site.

Monitor access control points by verifying identification and/or visitor authorization, logging entries and exits, and directing employees, contractors, and deliveries according to site procedures.

Complete timely, accurate documentation such as daily activity reports, incident reports, and maintenance or hazard notifications to support security-related operations and help to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
