RN Operating Room Full Time Evenings Overview:
The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care under the guidance of the Department Director and/or Charge Nurse for patients of all age groups. Collaboration with the healthcare team is key, aiming to achieve unit and hospital objectives. Adhering to established practice standards, the RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care needs. Flexibility to support other nursing units when required is essential.

REQUIREMENTS FOR RN OPERATING ROOM FULL TIME EVENINGS:

To excel in this role, the candidate must meet the following criteria:

• Education:
  1. Current unrestricted RN license in South Carolina
  2. Completion of IV Therapy training or competency demonstration within one year
  3. Maintaining department-specific competencies or certifications
  4. Active BCLS and ACLS certifications
  5. Encouraged to obtain advanced certification in a specialty field or engage with professional organizations
• Other Qualifications:
  1. Preferably, previous experience in a hospital setting
  2. Proficient in management and teaching skills
  3. Capable of stepping into a Charge Nurse role when necessary
