Position: Medical Assistant - Huntersville Location: Huntersville, NC
Job Id: 1342 # of Openings: 0 We are searching for compassionate and energetic individuals to join our team We are seeking a Full-Time Medical Assistant based in our Huntersville office. This person will work closely with Neurosurgery, Physiatry, and Neurology specialties. Ideal candidates will have 1-2 years of experience in a busy neurosurgery practice. New graduates will be considered based on previous experience and capabilities. You must be able to multi-task and remain flexible to ever-changing physician and patient needs. This position requires excellent communication skills with all levels of patients and staff, strong decision-making skills, and is a self-starter who can work effectively in a team environment. Clinical Responsibilities:

Rooms patients; obtains vitals, medical history, medication records, and chief complaint.

Assists physicians and APPs with clinics and various procedures.

Maintains and updates patient records using EMR. Experience with Next Gen is a plus.

Completes phone triage.

Performs routine office procedures.

Provides patient education.

Complies with all our processes and HIPAA regulations.

Applies our values in decision-making and interactions with all individuals.

Promotes a positive work environment through effective teamwork.

Other duties as assigned by changing needs, patient flow, or physician request.
