    Apartment Maintenance Technician


    As an Apartment Maintenance Technician, you will work with one of our top property management teams to provide exceptional service to residents and be part of a team dedicated to remodeling and maintaining top-notch multi-family communities.

    You'll safeguard equipment with regular tune-ups, helping equipment last longer and minimizing costly repairs. Walk the property daily, inspecting all areas for cleanliness and safety, and help to maintain great curb appeal. Perform general maintenance and repair to ensure apartment homes and other property facilities are in good working order.


    Responsibilities include preparing apartments for move-in, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) units; electrical appliances, outlets, and light fixtures; plumbing, carpentry, doors and locks.

    Following a planned preventative maintenance schedule and following up with residents after repairs are complete. One day, you could be patching and painting walls. Next, you might update kitchen fixtures, and walk a resident through the features of their new dishwasher. Someday you'll just be picking up trash. Every day, you'll be creating the best possible experience in our community.


    Requirements:
    Positive attitude

    Desire to help people

    HVAC experience required

    EPA Type II or EPA Universal required at hire or within 90 days of start date

    Computer proficiency and frequent daily use of / proficiency with a Smartphone with updated software

    One to three years of experience in multifamily property management, facility maintenance, and/or mechanical repair

    Consistent attendance and capability to get to work. A valid driver's license is required.

    Ability to work under pressure and have flexibility in scheduled projects.

    Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm and a rotating On-Call Scheduled for nights and weekends.
    Full Time - 40 Hours per week + any approved overtime.
