    ShorePoint Health in partnership with Intuitive Health is proud to offer the Cape Coral community an ER/Urgent Care facility. This is the only Hybrid ED/Urgent care model in the area. The Free Standing ED/Urgent Care is conveniently located off U.S. 41 and less than 15 minutes off the interstate.

    Here you will join a team who offer a new approach to healthcare by providing urgent care and emergency services under one room. This is a great opportunity to acquire additional skill sets and problem solving skills in making critical patient care decisions.

    Requirements:

    Experience: 1 year of Free Standing ER/A cute ED experience is required

    Education: Associate Degree in Nursing

    License: Valid Florida RN License. American Heart Associate BLS, ACLS, and PALS

    POSITION PURPOSE

    RN is responsible for coordinating and overseeing care delivered with an interdisciplinary approach, utilizing the nursing process which includes assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Perform phlebotomy duties, basic laboratory procedures, wound cultures, Point of Care testing, EKGs, application of splints and other care interventions within scope of practice and direction of the practitioner. Directs and provides patient teaching activities. Maintains standards of professional nursing practice. Documentation of records is accurate, complete and complies with the policy and procedures. Participates in efforts to improve patient care through education, Quality and Safety initiatives and support of ShorePoint Health nursing Strategic Plan (Healthy Work Environment, clinical excellence, optimal patient outcomes). Provides leadership, direction and guidance to ancillary staff in the care of patients. Performs other duties as assigned.

    Experience

    Preferred
    • Previous experience preferred as a staff nurse in acute care clinical setting. Able to work under stressful conditions. Good oral and written communication skills. Must be able to communicate to patients, hospital staff and visitors in a concerned and caring way, demonstrating the Standards of Excellence. Able to maintain confidentiality of information. Willingness to accept responsibility. Ability to direct ancillary staff and organize work assignments.
