    Description

    About the Role

    As a Wild Fork Team Member, your primary focus is to deliver exceptional experiences to all our guests. You will be trained as a personal chef and friendly butcher, with extensive product knowledge, enabling you to provide personalized recommendations on customers' favorite dishes or proteins.

    You will also be responsible for ensuring proper inventory control to maximize product freshness and availability, replenishing low stock items, picking and packing online orders, and delivering a welcoming checkout experience.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Be a Brand Ambassador: enthusiastically promote our quality products, educating customers about what WFF stands for.
    • Become a Product and Culinary Expert: participate fully in training classes to provide valuable recipes and cooking tips for our proteins.
    • Offer a Butcher-Friendly Shopping Experience: personalize every step of the process for our customers.
    • Assist Customers During Checkout: deliver a memorable experience.
    • Perform Stocking Duties: lift up to 50 pounds, rotate products, order supplies, dust, and clean the store.
    • Manage Daily Price Changes and Cash Registers: as required.
    • Process Customer E-commerce Orders: ensure timely product handouts for deliveries.
    • Work in Extreme Cold Environments: pull racks, process shipments, and perform monthly inventory in walk-in freezers.
    • Complete Other Related Tasks.

    Physical Demands and Work Environment

    • Physically able to exert up to 50 pounds of force.
    • Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures in walk-in freezers.
    • Stand/walk for up to 8-10 hours.
    • Frequent movement within the store to access various departments, areas, and products.

    Requirements

    • High School Degree or GED preferred but not required.
    • One year of customer service experience in retail, hospitality, or restaurants is required.
    • Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people, by showing interest and carefully listening to their needs.
    • Work with integrity as a TEAM toward a shared vision.
    • Be determined and deliver superior results with a sense of urgency, time management, and prioritization.
    • Treat it like you own it - Take ownership and responsibility to be successful.
    • Acts with respect and values other opinions.
    • Strong cognitive skills, including problem analysis.
