Aegis has partnered with a manufacturing facility in the Lexington Area that is looking to add a skilled and experienced production professional to its team.

This position is open to due an internal promotion.

The ideal candidate for this role will come from a fast-paced manufacturing environment and have experience making decisions that effect production directly.

Candidates from industries related to automotive, food production, pharmaceutical, and packaging would make for a perfect fit.

Apply TodayResponsibilities Manage and evaluate the entire production process, make changes to planning as necessary Responsible for skills development and cross-training of production supervisors, operators (one-step, two-step, and injection), and technicians in order to increase the knowledge base and flexibility within the production function.

Communicate with the Operations Manager to keep aware of issues taking place in the production area. Coordinates and directs the activities of shift production supervisors to develop and promote maximum operating effectiveness across all shifts.

Mentorship of production supervisors as well as hourly production members Contribute to production planning and budgeting Lead and monitor quality assessments to ensure customer satisfaction Maintain a safe production environment Ensure that all safety programs and procedures are being followed and implemented in a timely manner.
