    Description
    This role is focused on new growth opportunities for Electric Sales and Marketing.
    Market Analysis, Benchmarking, and residential/commercial business opportunity identification
    Managing the new product development teams ideas, weekly input, and tracking progress for review in weekly team meetings and executive updates
    Forecasting opportunities by revenue potential, margin impacts, customer acquisitions, and customer satisfaction (Financial modeling)
    Developing benchmarking methodology for current products/services and new products/services with utilities and non-utility offerings
    Assess market data, identify opportunities, and contribute to strategic planning.
    Marketing support
    Identifying and developing go-to-market strategies for new products/services.
    Develop clear communication plans for the marketing team to execute in accordance with the business plan.
    Business case development
    Follow all procedures and internal policies to coordinate product offerings cross functionally.
    Identify and communicate with key stakeholders internally, externally, and across different levels.

    Collect and analyze data related to business operations -this includes financial reports, key performance indicators (KPIs), and other relevant metrics.

    Keep detailed records of projects, processes, and operations to help track progress, share insights, and ensure continuity.
    Identify key requirements for product development.

    Qualifications

    Minimum:

    Bachelor's degree in Business (or a business-related discipline), Economics, Marketing, Engineering, or a relevant curriculum with 5+ years of relevant work experience.

    Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills consistent with the ability to identify key issues from a broad range of sources and alternatives and recommend optimal solutions for various situations.

    Advanced project management skills, including scheduling, estimating, and budgeting skill sets.
    Lead continuous improvement efforts and use process design outcomes to identify and solve problems.

    Effective written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to create presentations and showcase findings to executive-level leaders.

    Ability to be self-governing as well as work in a 'team' and/or 'matrixed' structure, supporting multiple clients, procedures, and policies.

    Ability to cope with multiple demands from leadership, customers, and staff in a positive and professional manner; displays a calm demeanor under pressure.

    Initiates new ideas and approaches; challenges orthodox practices and approaches with reasonably sound alternatives.

    Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, and other software applications utilized by the business unit sufficient to apply/support them with minimal instruction or guidance.

    This level of proficiency typically attainable through 3-plus year(s) of substantive experience with these applications
    Experience and examples of business growth and/or evaluating new opportunities for growth.

    Enrollment dates are each January 1st, April 1st, July 1st, and October 1st.


    Technical Certification Bonus:
    Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification.

    In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us.

    Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus.

    It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
