- Construction observation, documentation, and data collection
- Construction site safety and comfortability including accessing and using ladders, scaffolding, and swing stages
- Building/structure condition assessments and reports
- Forensic investigations including sketching, data entry, and non-destructive testing
- Compose and review observation, field, and summary reports
- Attendance at construction progress meetings as needed
- Coordination with staff engineers including drafting and drawing preparation
- Microsoft Word and Excel
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites
- Building Inspector/Plans Examiner license or ability to acquire preferred
- 5 plus years' experience in construction related environment
- Graduation with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural Engineering or relevant degree from an accredited university preferred
- Detail oriented skills necessary
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills necessary
- Must satisfy a background check
