    Description

    CT Technologist at Aultman Health Foundation

    The primary purpose of this role is to perform and coordinate CT examinations to ensure excellent patient care and efficient department workflow.

    • Identifies each patient, reviews physician orders for exam consistency, and verifies demographic details.

    Documents patient identification following hospital policies and records essential data.

    • Relies on in-depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology to position patients correctly for accurate diagnostic results.
    • Demonstrates respect for patients, families, and colleagues, ensuring a professional and courteous environment.
    • Ensures patient safety through detailed assessments, documentation, and proper use of equipment.
    • Reviews examinations for accuracy, communicates relevant information to the care team, and administers necessary substances for imaging.
    • Promotes radiation safety practices and confidentiality of patient information.
    • Maintains schedules and prioritizes patients while collaborating effectively with the department team.
    • Participates in training new employees and students, adheres to organizational policies, and fosters a positive work environment.
    • Manages time efficiently, represents the hospital in community activities, and seeks opportunities for involvement.

    WORKING CONDITIONS:

    • Day, afternoon, and midnight shifts with possible rotations.
    • Holiday rotations may be required.
    • Frequent interruptions and changes in duties' priority.
    • Exposure to hazardous tasks involving body fluids or tissues.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS ADDENDUM

    O = Occasionally = 0- 33% of the work shift or 0- 32 repetitions.

    F = Frequently = 34-66% of the work shift or repetitions.

    C = Constantly = 67-100% of the work shift or 200+ repetitions.

    N = Not essential job requirement.
