A & P Mechanic-ANC Job Title: ANC Station A&P Mechanic Department: Maintenance Reports To: Line Station Managers Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to conducting Terminating Service maintenance checks per the KA General Maintenance Manual at least every flight hours accomplishing all required servicing of the aircraft including wheel and brake replacement engine oil servicing replacing burnt out light bulbs wiping down struts etc troubleshooting and repairing defects discovered completing all return to service paperwork completely on a timely basis forwarding copies of repair information to Maintenance Control as work is completed performing other duties as directed by the GMM Maintenance Control or his supervisor High school graduate some college and/or technical school desirable Ability to read write understand spoken written English ability to write routine reports correspondence ability give verbal written direction assigned staff The employee must occasionally lift move more than pounds eye level Lift pounds with each arm over your head Twist turn with normal strength forces Climb numerous flights stairs Work on ladders lifts case high elevations Work in squatted position Work weather conditions The work environment characteristics describe here representative those employee encounters while performing essential functions Reasonable accommodations may be made enable individuals disabilities perform essential functions Work performed primarily construction setting noise level usually loud Must authorized work United States.
