    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Under general supervision, the Research Assistant is responsible for a variety of duties related to Geographical Information Systems (GIS). These duties may include but are not limited to: creating maps, editing and creating data, performing QA/QC and performing basic spatial analysis. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of GIS concepts and an in-depth knowledge of ArcGIS and/or ArcGIS Pro.

    Qualifications:

    BA/BS in Geography or related subjects with GIS concentration or related work experience.

    At least 6 months of related GIS work experience preferred

    Knowledge, Specialized Skills, and Abilities:

    In-depth knowledge of ArcGIS and/or ArcGIS Pro

    In-depth knowledge of Microsoft products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

    Experience working with hydro data.

    Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule

    Schedule: Varies Based on Manager Need

    Full Pay range: $ $23.25

    The anticipated hiring range: $ $20 per hour

    Time Base: Part Time
