About the Role:
The Payroll Specialist is responsible for accurate computation and execution of monthly and semi-monthly and other periodic compensation transactions.
The person in this role should be able to communicate effectively and resolve colleague's questions with consistently demonstrated service excellence.
The Details:
This opportunity is 100% remote for those not in the greater Tacoma/Seattle area and hybrid for those located in the greater Tacoma/Seattle area, 2 days a week in Tacoma office and 3 days from home.
Coordinating with Human Resources and Physician Services as necessary for initial processing of newly hired colleagues
Maintaining colleague compensation files
Coordinating documentation processing for terminated colleagues
Reviewing scheduling, shift assignment and revenue reports from operating units supporting payroll compensation
Coordinating with operating units to assure timely and accurate submission of information
Performing compensation calculations in time for scheduled pay dates
Performing timely inputs and review within payroll processing service to submit accurate payrolls
Maintaining and reviewing criteria for bonus determination; documenting and reporting bonus determinations
Maintaining and reviewing documentation for colleague advances and other transactions
Maintaining and reviewing documentation for levies, garnishments and similar transactions
Researching and resolving various tax questions with payroll service
Researching and resolving colleague's compensation questions to colleague's satisfaction in a service oriented manner
Advising management about general and specific issues regarding compensation payments, particularly those issues related to perceptions of communication with colleagues
Performing other related duties and special projects as assigned by manager

Experience:
At least 3 years compensation processing experience

Pay Range:
$25-$29. Exact pay will be determined based on candidate experience and geographical location.
