    Job Description

    • Greet, park, tow, move, and marshal aircraft arriving or departing, ramp area.
    • Provide lavatory and water service as required.
    • Offer shuttle service for passengers/crew as needed.
    • Fuel aircraft Jet-A-100LL as required.
    • Assist with customer service duties as needed.
    • Provide oil for aircraft as required.
    • Help with general cleaning and clearing of debris from ramp, building, and customer area.
    • Assist passengers and/or crew with baggage/cargo as necessary.
    • Perform wing walking duties as required.
    • Sump fuel tanks and trucks daily and record findings.
    • Comply with all company and airport regulations.
    • Carry out other duties as needed.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Complete NATA safety 1st initial training and recurrent every two years.
    • Possess a valid state driver's license, CDL preferred.
    • Successfully complete the company's training program.
    • Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check following FAA and DOT guidelines.

    Physical Demands

    The physical demands described represent those required by an employee to successfully perform the daily functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable employees with disabilities to perform daily functions.

    Daily functions require frequent standing, walking, sitting, using hands to handle objects, tools, or controls, reaching with hands and arms, and talking or hearing. Employees occasionally climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and must lift/move up to 50 pounds.

    Work Environment

    The work environment characteristics described represent those employees may encounter while performing daily functions. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable employees with disabilities to perform daily functions.

    Employees occasionally work near moving mechanical parts, in high places, and outside in various weather conditions, exposed to wet/humid environments, fumes, airborne particles, extreme heat, risk of electrical shock, and vibration.

    Line Service Technicians work with fuels and chemicals posing serious health and safety hazards if improperly handled. The noise level is usually very loud.
