Clinical Supervisor - Eugene, United States - Friends of the Children

    Default job background
    Description

We are seeking a dynamic Clinical Supervisor (licensed as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT) passionate about our mission, interested in providing therapeutic leadership and administrative support within a young, growing organization.

Friends - Lane County is an entrepreneurial organization currently serving over 300 people in Lane County and connected to 27 other Friends organizations providing similar services across the country.

The organization provides long-term support to trauma-impacted children and their families to break cycles of disadvantage.

Starting when youth are between the ages of 4-6 years old, Friends provides a professional mentor who spends 3-4 hours each week with the child in an array of environments.

Friends provide caregivers with social support and connections to other resources to help maintain stability in their home environment. Friends commits to provide both services to each family for 12+ years.

To date, this work has largely been financially supported through individual donors and foundations; however, Friends is working to be recognized as a Provider of Behavioral Health Services by the state of Oregon.

This will enable us to begin billing for some of the skill building and case management work we implement.

As such, Friends - Lane County is seeking a qualified Clinical Supervisor to provide oversight over the organization's billable activities.

The position will be largely supervisory in nature with occasional opportunities to provide direct client services.

As the Clinical Supervisor, you will help inform decisions made by administrative staff, provide connections to local services, provide crucial insight and perspective for the continued development of the Lane County chapter, and work to ensure organizational compliance.

While direct services will be an element of this position it will only be one of the elements this role includes.

Additional responsibilities will center on program focused efforts, support, development of staff, and building partnerships and collaboration.

    The ideal candidate will have:

    • Obtained an appropriate degree from an accredited University.
    • Current license or able to become licensed as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT (or other appropriate license) in the state of Oregon by start date of position.
    • Current license or able to become licensed as an QMHP in the state of Oregon by start date of position.
    • Experience working in a Macro level position for 1 year or more.
    • Experience working with youth and families is preferred, particularly those who have faced obstacles.
    • Cultural competency and experience with trauma-informed care.
    • Data entry and database management skills.

    What you'll experience:

    • A committed Program Director who will partner with you in developing systems and processes for billable activities.
    • The ability to implement and innovate upon a proven evidence-based mentoring model.
    • You'll be part of a dynamic and supportive national network.
    • You'll have new challenges daily. We commit to supporting you in every way, helping you serve our families, and keeping your batteries charged.
    • You'll be part of a friendly and collaborative workplace, where work-life balance is respected.
    • Most of all, you'll play a critical role in helping Lane County's children and families facing great barriers to change the trajectories of their lives
If you are this amazing person, here's what we have to offer:

    Salary:
    $75,000-$85,000

Comprehensive Benefits Package including healthcare, dental, paid vacation, sick leave, and 401(k) with 3% match.
