    Description

    Schedule is 14/7 with rotating day/night shifts. Housing is provided and a per diem of $35.00 per day is available. Must be able to pass a background check, physical, and drug screen.

    Essential Functions:

    • Able to competently run heavy machinery such as forklifts, conveyor belts, front-end loaders, and skid steers
    • Assists site crew with mobilization of equipment
    • Coordinates loading and unloading of sand containers on and off of conveyor system
    • Detects and troubleshoots mechanical and electrical malfunctions on the job site
    • Performs basic preventive maintenance on equipment
    • Ensures container run sheets are recorded accurately in tracking system.
    • Inspect equipment prior to start-up and record equipment condition and any maintenance performed.
    • Assist with general site housekeeping before leaving location.
    • Directs the activities of operators in the absence of a site supervisor

    Qualifications:

    Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred. Must be able to read and interpret work plans and orders, use simple math, and use basic hand-held measuring tools.

    Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy machinery such as forklifts, front-end loaders, conveyor belts, or skid steers. Previous oilfield or drilling site operations experience is preferred.

    Computer Skills: Basic computer skills required.

    Certifications & Licenses: Valid state driver's license with an acceptable driving record within the past five years.

    Other Requirements: Must be able to communicate effectively, using both written and spoken forms of communication. Must be a self-starter and work with minimal supervision. Must be willing to work any assigned shift, overtime, weekends, and holidays. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis and be at least 18 years of age. Must have high safety standards for self and others. Must be able to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate effectively with others.

    Physical Demands: The position requires carrying, pushing, and pulling 65 pounds of weight 66% of the time (8+ hours/day) Other Physical Requirements: Regularly required to sit or stand, reach, and move about the site/facility. Frequently climbs ladders and stairs. Work Environment: Work performed in a well-site environment. Exposure to inclement weather as most work will be performed outside.

    Personal Protective Equipment: Safety glasses, hard hat, and steel-toe boots must be worn at all times. Auditory and fall protection applicable when required.
